She and her friend, Floris joined forces to set up Furloughed Foodies, whose mission is to feed those struggling the most because of the Covid-19 pandemic. The organisation grew to over 500 volunteers including an 11-person volunteer management team, raising over £30,000 and delivering over 30,000 nutritious meals to NHS workers and those who are homeless and using food banks.
