Come along and join Eden Project Communities’ Mo Odling in some winter crafting.
First, Mo will be showing us how to make two different kinds of books – perfect for handmade gifts! Whether you want to make a photo book, note book or just want to learn a new skill, this session will get you started.
We’ll also be looking forward to the festive period – as the nights draw in, these recycled paper decorations will cheer us all up a bit.

If you’d like to make along with Mo live, here are the materials you’ll need:
For the hand-made books
Assortment of paper without too much text on it (eg envelopes, graph paper, sugar paper)
Embroidery Floss or Button thread (a bit thicker than cotton thread)
Darning or Embroidery needle
Pencil
Scissors
Bull clips
Thumbtacks with handles
Optional: Washi tape, Wooden clothes pegs, Ruler, Stapler
For the winter wreaths
Assorted waste paper of all kinds (magazines, newspaper, flyers, notes)
Toilet roll tubes
Cardboard (cereal boxes are ideal!)
PVA Glue
Embroidery Floss or Button Thread
Embroidery needle
Tape
Scissors
Optional: paint, beads or buttons, florist wire
