Matt Black
Matt is a British DJ and one half of music duo Coldcut who are considered the first stars of UK electronic dance music due to their innovative style and use of immersive visual technology. Coldcut are also the founders of Ninja Tune, an independent record label in London who have released music from artists including Kelis and Roots Manuva.
Matt has most recently curated the Climate Soundtrack for DJ’s for Climate Action which is a unique compilation of music from producers worldwide grown from samples recorded by Greenpeace on expeditions across the globe. The record is made using a pioneering new injection moulding process which reduces emissions and makes it one of the greenest records ever made.
