Join us in exploring the relationship between poetry and paint. Bring your journal or sketchbook and any paints or pens you might like to use for this creative workshop, discovering some of the processes writers and artists have used over the centuries and find your own way of capturing your thoughts and experience.

It doesn’t matter if you don’t have all of the things listed below, you can still enjoy the session.
Watercolours if you have them, or any other water based paint
A brush or two
Pot for water
Cloth or paper towels
Some twigs (just one or two, different sizes)
A candle or wax crayon
Masking tape or sellotape
Sketchbook / journal / notebook (without lines if possible)
Some thin paper for warm ups and to use as scrap
A piece of thicker paper or card (A5 ish, can even be a cereal packet)
Pen for writing
A magazine page with an image and some text on it
