Dr Tony Kendle takes us on a journey exploring the wonder of nature just outside our windows. Access to nature has been a lifeline for many over the past 18 months – whether you live in a city estate or a country village. Discover the importance of our relationship with nature and what we share in common with plants as Tony shares his insightful and fascinating perspective on the web of life in our own backyards.
Tony is a horticulturalist, educator and researcher. He is the co-author of Urban Nature Conservation: Landscape Management in the Urban Countryside and the new A Wonder In the Garden, both books review the importance of urban and garden biodiversity, the first from a professional perspective and the latter from a domestic perspective.
You can listen to the conversation, exclusively recorded for The Festival of Discovery, below.
