Robin Hanbury-Tenison is the ‘hot places explorer’. He has spent much of his life in the rainforests and deserts of the world, visiting and sometimes living with over 100 tribes and working with top scientists to reveal the diversity and significance of tropical forests. This led to the founding of Survival International, of which he is president, and the start of the global rainforest movement.
The author of 26 books, his latest ‘Taming the Four Horsemen’ published in February 2020, predicted a pandemic, only for him to be struck down with coronavirus in March which he miraculously survived.
