James Wallace
James is an environmental entrepreneur and naturalist. Following an early career in archaeology and the corporate world, he has spent the past 20 years setting up organisations that pioneer solutions to the climate and ecological crises. As CEO of Beaver Trust, he helps communities restore rivers and wildlife with beavers.
Lucy Powell
Lucy founded Outside Lives in April 2019. Headquartered in North Wales and established as a social enterprise, Outside Lives acts as a catalyst, bringing together members of the community. It enables people to join together and take part in activities and events that support personal wellbeing and growth, whilst also celebrating and protecting the natural environment. The aim is to create a more robust, sustainable and connected community.
Alan Cook
Alan is involved in the running and development of a inclusive community cycling charity Just Ride in Southend. The charity runs regular drop‑in inclusive cycling sessions for people of all ages and abilities. Just Ride provides a safe traffic-free experience with specially adapted cycles to cater for all disabilities or health conditions.
